Celebrated my 50th birthday here and had the best week of my life it was a dream come true . Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and the accommodation and food was superb . I hope to return soon x
I spent a long 4th of July weekend here with my girlfriend and our friends. I couldn't have imagined a better experience. BMR is like living in a movie, or a magazine ad. It's just perfect. The evenings were magical - where we'd watch the horses run into the field to eat, then unwind with some beers and music at the small saloon. Food was exceptional, as was the accommodations. And the staff was super helpful and friendly. I arrived not having a plan of activities and was amazed at all the options and constantly pleasantly surprised - so I recommend you just stop what you're doing and book a trip. Worth every cent because the experiences were priceless.

Amazing staff and amazing property. I loved my time here and can't wait to make it back. A lovely place to take in the views - from horseback, or relaxing outside your cabin. I can't say enough good things! A lovely way to spend your days.
We had an AMAZING week at Black Mountain Ranch. Everything was stellar: the food, the staff, the amazing horses (we each had our own for the week), the accommodations and facilities, the pace of the week... literally everything.
The very, very best of Colorado. Staff is wonderful, kind, and accommodating; the natural beauty of the ranch and valley is stunning; the buildings are kept up very well and beautiful; and there are enough activities to keep you fully satisfied. No mobile phone service which I would consider an extraordinary feature; there's wifi available, but seriously, roam and explore! =)
Every day was filled with firsts and our boys absolutely LOVED every second of it. After cruel editing, we took over 400 amazing photos and videos and turned them into a gorgeous photo album. Whenever the boys flip through it, they are reminded of our incredible week there and ask when we can go back.
